Punta de la Mona
Perhaps the most famous dive site in the area. Under its cliffs appear walls that drop several meters down, with cracks, corals and plenty of marine life. At medium depths you can already see groupers, sponges, schools of fish and the occasional octopus. The deeper area is ideal for those seeking more technical dives.
La Calita
Accessible only by boat, it is a very beautiful and quiet spot. The rocky walls and good visibility make it a very pleasant dive. Its bottom descends progressively to around 30 meters, with areas where moray eels, conger eels and other rock-dwelling fish hide.
Roqueo de los 14
Perfect for beginners or relaxed dives. Its maximum depth is around 14 meters and it offers small rocky formations full of life. It is common to find octopuses, damselfish, wrasses and many different schools of fish here.
Piedra de la Higuera
Located in front of Marina del Este, it is one of the most interesting sites due to the number of cracks in its seabed. It is a very entertaining place, with natural corridors and corners where you can see conger eels, bream, moray eels and fauna very typical of the Mediterranean.
Punta del Vapor
One of the most comfortable dives, as you can access it from the shore. Its rocky bottom attracts a lot of marine life and it is a perfect option for a simple but full-of-surprises dive.
Piedras Altas
Recommended for advanced divers. Here the bottom drops to 40 meters and the rock formations create walls, pinnacles and more technical spaces. The marine life is abundant and the underwater landscape is spectacular.
Maro – Cerro Gordo (Natural Area)
One of the treasures of the area. Its clean waters, environmental protection and the tranquility of the surroundings make it a perfect place to enjoy diving and appreciate biodiversity without crowds.
